Meet the Founder

Hi, I’m Siya Maheshwari, a high school student and a passionate advocate for youth civic engagement. I founded Tomorrow’s Voices Today because I believe young people shouldn’t have to wait until they turn 18 to be taken seriously in politics. Too often, we’re told to “wait our turn” to wait to vote, wait to lead, wait to make change. Some fun facts about me are I'm very involved in theatre, I love to bake and cook, I play tennis in my free time, and I've been passionate about politics from a very young age! I believe our system can change. I want to create a future where youth voices are valued in every room, from classrooms to boardrooms to Congress. This project is just the beginning. I’m so glad you’re here. — Siya
